Cai be floating market 1 day tour

7:00am Pick up at your hotel, climb aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and travel to the rural town of Cai Be, situated approximately 100 miles (160 km) southwest of the capital. Capture photographs of the alluring agricultural landscapes along the way then hop onto a motorboat on arrival in Cai Be.

Cruise around the Cai Be Floating Market, a commercial spectacle established in the 19th century. Marvel at boats replete with exotic produce and interact with locals in order to discover more about their stock. Next, disembark and stroll to the coconut candy factory to discover the manufacturing process of the sweet treats.

Purchase some candy to snack on, and then explore the small villages of the Mekong Delta with your guide. Feast your senses on the rich sights and smells of a fruit orchard and listen to melodious Vietnamese folk music known as “don ca tai tu”.

Return to the water on a small boat and sail to Tan Phong Island to commence a cooking class in which the secrets of Vietnamese cuisine are revealed. Prepare delectable dishes inspired by regional recipes; typical dishes include braised fish, grilled steak and fried elephant-ear fish.

Digest your culinary classics then hop onto a bicycle to explore the orchards, bonsai gardens and winding streets of a local village. Sail back to Cai Be and relax during the return journey to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Cancellation policy for deposited Tours:
a. If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded
b. If you are a “no-show” on the morning of the trip, for whatever reason, you will lose your deposit

Cancellation policy for full charged Tours:
a. Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: full refund
b. Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: no refund
c. Flight delayed, food poisoning, getting sick unable to attend tour. Under those circumstances, we agree to reschedule your start date with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost
d. The refund is done using the same payment method. In the event of credit cards which are charged monthly, the amount shall be credited at the end of the current invoicing period. The exact time of the refund depends on the user’s credit card agreement. The refund by bank transfer shall be done within seven bank working days.
